Stories of Us Photo Exhibition

On 12th February, 2026 from 6pm - 7pm, I will be exhibiting 12 photographs I have captured of migrants who have come from Asia, Africa, The Caribbean, Europe, and North America, and now call Newcastle home. The goal is to showcase the contributions migrants make to their communities within the UK and provide an alternative narrative to the often negative depiction of migrants that dominates news headlines. After Mariam's daughter got abducted from school, the family is plunged into extreme despair as they wait to know the fate of their child, a situation that is all too familiar with many families in Northern Nigeria. This short film is based on true events.
